During my PhD, I investigated signaling cascades critical for neuronal development, using molecular, viral, and pharmacological tools on primary neuronal cultures. Subsequently, my work focused on investigating how such gene manipulations in hippocampal neurons can influence learning and memory mechanisms in vivo.
Building on my experience in molecular biology, ex vivo, and in vivo approaches, my current research focuses on uncovering the genetic signatures of memory within memory-encoding engram neurons and developing precise methods to manipulate them under both healthy and disease conditions.
